To flatten an imported part quickly in SolidWorks, simply select the 'Flatten' option in the 'Part' menu. This will allow you to check for overlaps and ensure that your design is accurate.

Before changing your SolidWorks serial number, make sure you have saved any unsaved work and closed all open files. To change the serial number, follow these steps:

1. Open the 'Control Panel' on your computer and select 'Programs and Features.'

2. Find the SolidWorks installation in the list of programs and right-click on it.

3. Select the option to 'Change' the installation.

4. In the 'Change SolidWorks Installation' window, select the option to 'Modify your installation.'

5. Click 'Next' and then select the 'License' tab.

6. Enter your new serial number in the 'Enter a new license key or activation code' field.
